"The Travel Guide's" expeditions through "The Conquer Tribes Adventures" have continued to explore yet more wonderful tourist attractions within and outside Bauchi State. These expeditions are carried out by the company's team of relentless adventurers whose curiosities drives them to search for epic locations wherein both excitement and serenity could be found.
.
The most recent discovery made by the team is an old river which has now reduced to a stream. This remarkably flowing stream lies some 22km away from Bauchi metropolis. Bobindi, a small village along Waya Dam is where the stream cuts through down to Jinkiri, where farmers around the area use this water as a source of irrigation. Although the distance of this stream's route is yet to be known by us, the width between the banks is approximately 50fts apart. But the water doesn't fill up the entire space, it only flows narrowly through some routes. I am guessing the effects of the climate change.
.
But this stream isn't just what we discovered. There's a rocky point on which the stream is somewhat logged in. This rocky space has a geological form that we are yet to apprehend. We found on the rock multiple smoothly carved holes that seem to serve as little reservoirs. These holes and curvey shaped carvings are just too stunning for the eyes to resist, and in some of them there's some reserved water perhaps from the recent rain falls. This point, as we enquired from the locals is called, "Mashayar Boka" (The sorcerer's bar).
.
Miraculously, the stream cuts between the aggregate cracks of this rock form and in between the crack lies an approximately 15fts deep water bed, wherein the beauty of this rock is converged in an excellent manner. Oh, and before I forget, there are little caves within the rock too.
.
The environs of this location is absolutely calming and serene. It is filled up with damp air, various sounds of birds' chirping and the sound of flowing water. The warm and humid breeze leaves one with nothing but a feeling of joy and peace. Gundis, a team member of the Conquer Tribe named it, "The 8th wonder of the world".
.
Frankly speaking, one cannot express the sweetness of swimming in this amazing stream. Everyone must take a dive to understand the euphoria to which we allude.
.
Upon the discovery of this place, we received information about another place that is said to look similar, yet more wonderful and beautiful, to this place. This other place is said to be located some 3km away from Yankari Game Reserve near a small town called Gar. Perhaps this would be the "Wizards den", LOL.
.
The Conquer Tribe Adventures under the supervision of The Travel Guide's expeditions, aims to embark on another expedition this coming weekend, yet to unravel the hidden wonders and beauty of this place... Do stay tuned, for more is coming your way.
